Welcome! I introduce myself to you as a professional full-time leather crafter,
working at my trade since 1995. I create many styles of leather clothing, bags, and gear for
Medieval and Renaissance Faires as well as for historic re-enactors.
I have produced work for stage, film and television as well as for corporate promotions, but my favorite work is to handcraft for the individual, you, just the right pieces for your outfit.

Please take a moment to read my shipping, payment and return policies.
When you are ready to order Contact me by E-mail or by Phone or use my Order Form to submit your order.
I feel every piece I produce represents me as a craftsman.
So if any of your purchases are defective in manufacture I will replace them.
If any piece is not what you had anticipated I will give a refund upon return
of the item. If you're not satisfied I'm not satisfied...
Exchanges for size and color may also be made -- nobody should be stuck with
a piece that is not right for them. However, in ALL cases, used, damaged,
or altered goods will not be accepted for return, and that determination
is always at my discretion. Refunds will not include shipping, and you must
pay the shipping on exchanges, unless, of course, the error is mine.
Most orders will be sent out via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
I cannot be responsible for merchandise after it is confirmed delivered.
As every piece is hand cut and crafted, items may differ slightly from the
photos. Customizations may alter the price of an item, and custom work may
not be returnable.
I like to give very rapid turn around on orders, but events do conspire at
times. Custom work will take longest, due to layout and design needs.
Payment Options
(in order of fastest to slowest):

E-mail* or Phone me credit card info. I take Visa and Master Card only.
Please note I do NOT use PayPal at this time.
Phone the info to me at 610-489-3234 and leave a message and phone number on the machine. Only I have access to the machine.
If you do either I need ALL information from the card, EXACTLY as it appears on the card. This gets the piece mailed as soon as it is done. PLEASE do not leave ORDERS on the phone -- E-mail them so I can print them and put them on my work list.
* My E-mail is NOT secure, so if you choose to e-mail me credit card info it is at your own risk I recommend you phone it in, instead. Please still send me an e-mail with the item information and your shipping information.

Snail Mail me the Credit Card Info, with the above information, plus
a signature. This gets the items mailed once they are completed and I receive and process the
charge.

Snail Mail me a Money Order. This gets items mailed once completed
and the MO is
deposited.
- Snail Mail me a Personal Check. This gets items mailed once completed and once the check has cleared.

IN ALL CASES PLEASE remember to include your shipping information.
Let me know which method you will be using so I know what to expect...
Shipping is almost always done via Priority Mail with the post office. If an order gets quite large or bulky I may use UPS. The minimum shipping charge is $6, and covers most single items or multiple smaller items. I calculate shipping for each order and can tell you the amount once the order is placed.

* Many folks have asked why there are no samples posted so you can
compare colors.
The reason is that digital translation of colors, along
with your random browser and monitor settings will likely render
colors
far from the actual tones of the leathers, making samples very
misleading....

OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT
Your privacy is as important to us as our own. We at
Jekyl the Hidesmith will never sell, lend or disclose your personal or
financial information provided to us except as required by law or under
the terms of use or agreement of yours or our financial institutions.
Your information is stored in house at our facility only as long as is
required by law and is then destroyed. No customer mailing lists or
database is maintained, shared or sold. Information shared by your
request with other vendors will be limited to contact information, color
and sizing details and any other information you wish shared with the
exception of financial information, which you must provide to any other
vendors you wish us to contact on your behalf.
